On January 3, 2023, Mearthane Products (MPC) announced that it had completed the acquisition of Precision Elastomers (PEI), a manufacturer of customized thermosetting polyurethane and silicone components based in Ipswich, Massachusetts. Prior to the acquisition of PEI, Mearthane Products strategically acquired Snyder Plastics (SPI) in Bay City, Michigan, in May 2022, and Polyurethane Molding Industries (PMI) in Wensokit, Rhode Island, in 2020.
