The third-generation semi-conductor material like SiC is facing an urgent increment of market and production.
After the release of ON semiconductor’s Q2 financial report, the expected sales of 2022 of SiC is increased to the four times as the original expectation while the original plan is just to be “as double as the original one”. They also expect to get an annual income over 1 billion USD in 2022 for SiC sales.
STC also plans to get a 0.7 billion USD for SiC business. In 2023, the annual income will be 1 billion USD. The main market of SiC material of STC is from automotive and industries.
