HOSHINE completed the first trial operation of the 220 kV Hongshan substation power transmission project

At 18:01 on December 21st, the 220 kV Hongshan Substation power line impact test in Turpan was successfully conducted. This marks the commissioning of the power supply project for HOSHINE Silicon Industry's polycrystalline silicon project, which will meet the annual electricity demand for 400,000 tons of siloxane, 200,000 tons of high-purity polysilicon, and 140,000 tons of blended silicon rubber in the third phase. It provides ample power for the development of the silicon-based industry.

The leading enterprise in the silicon-based new materials industry, HOSHINE Silicon Industry Co., Ltd., currently holds the world's first industrial silicon and organosilicon production capacity. It has invested in the construction of a "coal-electricity-silicon" integrated green circular economy industrial park covering an area of over 10,000 acres in Shanshan County.

The upstream phase includes an annual 400,000-ton industrial silicon project and a second-phase 400,000-ton industrial silicon project. The midstream phase involves a 75,000-ton graphite carbonization electrode project. The downstream phase includes a first-phase 100,000-ton siloxane project, a second-phase 400,000-ton siloxane project, a third-phase 400,000-ton siloxane project, and a 140,000-ton blended silicon rubber project annually.

The successful completion of the power supply project will undoubtedly contribute to the sustainable development of the silicon-based industry and promote the efficient and environmentally friendly utilization of energy resources.
