Dow and New Energy Blue have announced a long-term supply agreement in North America, in which New Energy Blue will use renewable agricultural residues to manufacture bio based ethylene. Dow hopes to purchase this bio based ethylene to reduce carbon emissions in plastic production and use it for recyclable applications such as transportation, footwear, and packaging.
