On May 24, 2023, the opening ceremony of the capacity expansion of Wacker Nanjing production base was held, marking the successful completion of the capacity expansion of vinyl acetate ethylene (VAE) lotion and VAE redispersible latex powder in the production base. After the expansion of Wacker Nanjing production base, a set of lotion reactor and a set of redispersible emulsion powder spray dryer were added respectively. Today's production capacity has more than doubled, which can especially meet the growing demand of China's booming construction industry for high-quality binders. Wak invested approximately $100 million in the capacity expansion project of the comprehensive production base.
