On the morning of May 1, 2023, an explosion and fire accident occurred in the hydrogen peroxide production area of China Chemical Group Luxi Chemical. At present, all open flames on site have been extinguished, resulting in 5 deaths and 1 injury (under active treatment). Another person who lost contact is making every effort to search and rescue, and the specific cause of the accident is under investigation.
