BASF announced plans to build a second production line at its Huizhou Daya Bay base in Guangdong Province to expand its polymer dispersion production capacity. The new production line is planned to be put into operation in 2024. As a leading dispersion manufacturer in the world, BASF continues to expand its investment in the rapidly growing Asian market. BASF Huizhou Daya Bay Base has obvious regional advantages and is close to key customers in South China. The base produces a variety of high-performance acrylic and styrene-butadiene dispersion products, suitable for coatings, construction, adhesives, textiles, paper making, packaging, and other fields, as well as emerging markets such as lithium ion batteries. It is reported that BASF's decentralized division operates three production bases in China, with its BASF Huizhou Daya Bay base operating in 2012.
