BorgWarner, the leading automotive supplier from the U.S., recently provides new type SiC inverters for some China’s largest car producers’ two electrical vehicles which are aimed at medium & high-end clients.
As the information tells, the new cars will be on sale on next Q1.
There are three different types of inverters developed by BorgWarner in two different cars.
Not only for China’s car companies, in 2011 November, BorgWarner has already provided new high-pressure SiC inverters to produce next-generation EVs.
It is beneficial from the silicone oil and silicone-made components of the 800V inverters, BorgWarner is developing its electrical campaign and the company announces that to increase the income portion of EVs to 45% of the total revenue in 2030.
