BMW will invest 800 million euros to develop its next-generation-all-electric vehicles in Mexico. BMW said that this will help to increase its sales of electric vehicles to half of its global sales by 2030. This German luxury car manufacturer will produce Neue Klasse all-electric models at its factory in Potosi, San Luis, Mexico. BMW currently produces BMW 3-series, 2-series Coupe and new M2 in this factory. BMW will invest 500 million euros to build a new high-voltage battery assembly center in Potosi, St. Louis. Neue Klasse models will use new round lithium-ion batteries.
