Recently, Magna International International Inc. (MGA-US), a Canadian auto parts manufacturer, said that it would invest $790 million to build three new supplier factories, two of which would be located in the BlueOval City Park, Tennessee, of Ford Motor (F-US). The statement said that Magna International's factory would support the production of Ford's second-generation electric trucks. One plant in the Ford campus will produce battery housings for trucks, and another will produce polyurethane foam and seats. All three factories are planned to start production in 2025.
