Waaree Energies, a solar module manufacturer, announced that the company plans to expand its module manufacturing capacity from 9GW to 12GW by March 2023, which will become the world's largest module factory outside China.
In May 2022, Waaree Energies acquired Indian solar cell manufacturer Indosolar. At the same time, the annual capacity of Indosolar's plant in Greater Noida has been expanded from 4GW to 5.4GW, and this plant will now also be used to produce components.
