According to the Ministry of Labor, Veterans and Social Affairs of Tongnai Province, starting from April 2023, TKG Taekwang MTC Vietnam Co., Ltd. (a leather shoe expert) has laid off nearly 800 workers.
The reason is that there are no orders for this business, and before deciding on the issue, the company has already made a financial support agreement, with the majority of employees agreeing. It is according to the agreement between the enterprise and employees, all departing employees will be given half a month's salary subsidy annually (based on their length of service), with a maximum subsidy of 11 months per employee.
